Happy Valentine’s Day… Eight Days Late!

For the past couple of years, I have tried to do a “love” shoot with my little team.  This year I was a few days late in pulling off the shoot, but hey, what can you do?

Here is their 2011 shoot. Clowns!

This year, I had something kind of elaborate planned, but it didn’t quite work out, so I am saving that idea for next year :-).

Instead, I decided to do something simpler and have the kiddos spell out “l-o-v-e” in sign language.

Except for some reason, their little hands just wouldn’t form the letters correctly (likely on purpose!).

And the more frustrated I grew, the more they laughed. And laughed. And laughed.

Little stinkers.

While I had them all relatively clean and in a playful mood, I snapped some more pix. This location was found by Presley…love that my first grader was SO excited to tell me she found a new location for me to take pictures :-). She calls it the “Secret Garden.”

I think this next image needs to be a REALLY BIG CANVAS in their room since these two share a room.  You agree?

My kids LOVE climbing trees. No one has fallen out of one. Yet. I think Kaylee was looking up at a “buwd’s” nest when I snapped this. She still can’t quite pronounce her Rs (not that it bothers her when we tease her. Not much bothers this one. I often say I want to live in Kaylee-land :-))

Emily is always willing to let me take gorgeous head shots and I LOVE THIS ONE!
